OVERVIEW
This TV commercial was produced by Plan B Film Production for Lung Fung Medical, promoting 謝太公安宮牛黃丸 through a playful and imaginative reinterpretation of the classic “Journey to the West” story.
Designed as a light-hearted and contemporary campaign, the TVC uses humour, exaggerated character interactions, and energetic pacing to refresh a culturally familiar tale. By contrasting iconic legendary figures with modern comedic timing, the film creates an entertaining narrative that feels both nostalgic and accessible to today’s audience.
Visually, the commercial adopts a colourful and stylised approach, with expressive framing, lively camera movement, and carefully detailed costumes that enhance the comedic rhythm. Bold performances and character-driven interactions reinforce the humour while maintaining a cohesive, storybook-inspired tone throughout the film.
